Muslim League-Samastha issue: Samastha asks Muslim League to remove PMA Salam

KOZHIKODE: Samastha Mushavara member wants to remove PMA Salam from the party's general secretary post as the Muslim League-Samastha war escalates. Samastha's senior leader and secretary Umar Faizi Mukkam criticized the league in harsh language yesterday.

During the election, Umar Faizi had severely criticized the League state president and PMA Salam. The CPM also used the tussle of Samastha, the main vote bank of the League, in the elections. LDF Kannur candidate and CPM Kannur district secretary MV Jayarajan had visited Umar Faizi's home the other day, expressing gratitude for this. PMA Salam was asked to be removed after this.

"The chair of League State General Secretary was once occupied by CH Muhammad Koya and Korambayil Ahamed Haji. It is painful that Salam is sitting there and despising Samastha who stood by them. The league leadership should understand that if the league does not correct this, it will harm the community, the league and everyone. It's up to the league to fix it. Some stances against Samastha came from the League. Some disclosures have been made. Many in Samastha and the league say there are no problems. It it not enough to just say so.
